Ling Capital, a financial advisory firm based in Tokyo, has publicised that one of their team is to embark on a 250km sponsored bicycle ride in aid of charity.
Online PR News – 20-November-2015 – Tokyo, Japan – Harvey Scott, a Senior Portfolio Manager at Ling Capital, is aiming to cycle from Ling’s head office in Tokyo, to Hamamatsu in the Shizuoka Prefecture, on the 11th December 2015. He is accepting sponsorship for the journey, which will be donated to The International Peace Institute.
Harvey, a self-confessed fitness freak, said “I’m really excited about this bicycle ride for the International Peace Institute. Not only for the chance to contribute to such a meaningful charity after such catastrophic world events, but also for the personal physical challenge. I hope to complete the challenge in approximately 11 hours, but that all depends on Japan’s notoriously erratic weather and traffic.”
Stephen Carter, also a Senior Portfolio Manager at Ling Capital, followed with “We at Ling Capital are all in awe at Harvey’s compassion and determination in attempting this feat. The entire Ling Capital family are supporting Harvey, and have so far raised almost USD $7,200 (JPY 887,000). Any donations from our clients and the public will be greatly appreciated.”
