Breakout recording artist Etch releases single-with-a-message - Been There Done That from self-titled EP ETCH dropping February 19, 2016
The follow up to her popular summer release, Kryptonite, Been There Done That, is an introspective but infectious, fun-loving, pop, hip-hop rock mix that is sure to become another fan favorite.
Written by Etch, Morah Shay and Esjay Jones, Etch describes co-writing Been There Done That as a bit of a cathartic process she describes as follows, "This song is about my life experience of growing up and making mistakes and learning from them. I wanted to make a party song and let everyone know that you can be yourself and still have a great time!"
Bursting onto the LA music scene earlier this summer, the combo of Etch's effortless freestyles and hooks landed her gig’s at the infamous Whiskey on Sunset Boulevard and a coveted spot opening for Demi Lovato and Five Seconds of Summer at a popular private event in Southern California.
Etch, the self-adopted nickname adorned from a family member born CHLOE STAR NAKHJAVANPOUR, is a singer, songwriter, talented musician and rising Star as her middle name indicates. Part Persian, part Native American, 18-year old Etch craves for connections with others through her music due to life challenges in her early teen years. "I want to tell my story to everyone. I want people to listen to my music and know that they are not alone. I especially want kids, teens, tweens, college students – everyone to know that I am living proof that you can overcome tough situations in life. Maybe I can make a small difference to someone listening who might be going through some of the things I may have already experienced and survived."
Etch’s next project: her self-titled EP ETCH will be released through Etch Music February 19, 2016.
