Online PR News – 20-November-2015 – Bradford, West Yorkshire – Ten years ago two long-established Yorkshire businesses, WLT Ltd and Crusader Europe, got together to form a new firm Advanced Dynamics Ltd. Now a leading supplier in the packaging industry, the company celebrates a decade in business with a full order book and a mission to provide customers with invaluable automatic solutions to improve their production efficiency, quality and costs.
Directors Mike Essler and Malcolm Little are the driving force behind the company, expanding the business’s equipment portfolio of specialist wrapping, labelling and feeding solutions in industries such as food, drinks, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, toiletries, printing and other related sectors.
With a combined experience of over 120 years in the labelling and packaging field, Advanced Dynamics is now the UK distributor for renowned global machine manufacturers such as Pack Leader, Köra-Packmat and Eurokett, as well as supplying cutting edge sheet counters made by B.Matic.
The growth of the company resulted in a major move in 2010 when it was decided to relocate from its original site at Thornton Road, Bradford to new, modern premises close to the M606 on the outskirts of the city.
It has also increased its workforce over the years and the business now employs 10 people at its facility in Staithgate Lane, which has also been expanded to include a mezzanine and a permanent 800 square foot exhibition site for showcasing the impressive line-up of the company’s extensive specialised equipment.
Malcolm Little, said: “It has been an eventful 10 years since Mike and I joined forces. From riding out the recession of 2008 to the challenges of investing in new premises and diverging into different manufacturing sectors to meet the growing demand from industry for automatic solutions to boost productivity, there has never been a dull moment.
“In addition to offering a range of systems for applying labels efficiently and accurately every time – freeing staff for more productive tasks – Advanced Dynamics has recently launched new affordable technology for the de-stacking of pots and tubs for filling of soups, stews and sauces.”
Advanced Dynamics can also supply shrink sleeve solutions which can be customised for almost any container, providing advantages such as increased space for brand identity and on-shelf impact, as well as practical functions like protective security seals and tamper proof packaging.
Sleeve labelling has been used predominantly for food and beverages, however, there is increasing demand from non-food sectors, including cosmetics, toiletries, pharmaceuticals, household care products and many other markets from milk containers to sun screen bottles.
It is this ability to listen to what customers want and offer bespoke solutions, as well as tackling projects where others are reluctant to tread, which has been the cornerstone of Advanced Dynamics’ success over the last 10 years.
