Online PR News – 15-November-2015 – Las Vegas, NV – Las Vegas, NV, 11/12/15ā Local moving company TWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ® of Las Vegas will participate in the first ever diaper drive put on by the Las Vegas Diaper Bank. āOperation Dry Bottomā will take place on December 5, 2015 between 10am and 4pm.
The event will take place in the Nacho Daddy parking lot (Summerlin location), 9560 W. Sahara Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89117. āOperation Dry Bottomā is being spear headed by Carlye Davis, Executive Director of Las Vegas Diaper Bank. The diaper drive hopes to collect 30,000 diapers at the event and similar diaper drives throughout the Las Vegas area in the month of December. The diapers collected will be distributed to low-income families through non-profit organizations such as: Babyās Bounty, Centro de Adoracion Familiar (CAF), Chapel of Improvement Fellowship Diaper Ministry, Lifeline Outreach, and Women & Childrenās Center of the Sierra. According to the 2014 U.S. Census, about 47 million people are living in poverty; 5.3 million of which are infants. The National Diaper Bank Organization, created in 1994, has provided over 35 million free diapers to low-income families in 2014 alone. Facts like these alone show the importance of such an organization.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ® is proud to partner with organizations such as the Las Vegas Diaper Bank. TWO MEN AND TRUCKĀ® will move the diapers collected at the event and deliver them to their destinations. Since 2009, TWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ® has donated over 74,476 hours of service to the communities in which we operate, and these numbers are constantly growing. Last year alone we provided $2,413,790 in moving services at no cost to charities and non-profit organizations. TWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ®, Las Vegas works closely with organizations such as Safe Nest Shelter for Domestic Abuse, Habitat for Humanity, Heaven Can Wait Animal Shelter, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Cheeriodicals. TWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ® is more than happy to add the Las Vegas Diaper Bank to that list.
āTWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ®, Las Vegas truly believes in the core values that our company was built on. Giving back to the community, caring, and simply being oneās self and having fun while doing it all really creates a great environment for everyone involved. When we say āMovers Who Careā, we truly mean it in every way possible. Just because Diaper Need Awareness week is over, it does not mean that the need for diapers has gone away. Families in our community are still struggling. TWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ® is proud to help with such an amazing causeā. āAshlee Wright, Marketing Coordinator
