Online PR News – 15-October-2015 – O'FALLON, Ill. – Jack Schmitt Cadillac, a local car dealership that specializes in selling used and new vehicles, recently hosted their Cars For A Cause, which benefited the well-known local non-profit animal rescue organization, Partners For Pets, on Sat., October 10.

The dealership raised $500 in funds and also raised awareness for the local organization. Community members and animal lovers alike gathered at the dealership’s location to help show their support.

Leah Young, sales staff at Jack Schmitt Cadillac, helped organize this Cars For A Cause event.

“We had a wonderful time helping Partners For Pets raise awareness and money for their wonderful cause,” said Young. “We were excited about the opportunity to give back to the local organization.”

During the live adoption drive hosted at the dealership, Jack Schmitt Cadillac donated $100 for every car sold that day. They also donated much-needed food, supplies, and toys for the animals in need. Not only did the dealership staff make significant donations, but they also provided giveaways for attendees to enjoy throughout the event.

“Giving back to the local community and helping others in need is something that we all take very seriously,” said John Schmitt, Dealer Elect of Jack Schmitt Cadillac. “We were so pleased with the turnout and the opportunity to help those in need.”

The local dealership has lately been focused on being community-centered. Currently, the dealership is working together to aid breast cancer research. For every car sold during the month of October, the company will donate $50 to the American Cancer Society in Maryville, Illinois.

Partners For Pets is a licensed, 501(c)3, no-kill animal rescue that has been making a difference for pets and families all throughout the Metro East area for years. Donations to this organization go to helping animals in need of finding a new home, providing lifesaving veterinary care, and more.
