In addition, the restaurant’s Industry Hours will take place from 10 p.m. to midnight Sundays through Thursdays. During this time, all individuals working in the industry will receive 25 percent off food and beverage.
“Our dinner service has been very well received, so we felt it was the perfect time to open our doors for breakfast and lunch,” said Zack Sklar. “These menus were created to not only provide our guests with items they know and love, but also to introduce them to new dishes they may find intriguing.”
Remarking about the Happy Hour program, Sklar noted with enthusiasm that, “Au Cochon is the place to be every afternoon during the week. From our delicious craft cocktails to approachable French cuisine, there is sure to be nothing else like it.”
Designed by Chicago-based 555 International, the 1,500-square-foot restaurant seats a total of 112, including 12 on the patio and 20 at the bar. The design features copper, brass and steel materials throughout, including in the bar and on the ceiling. The interior was created to provide a traditional feel with leather banquettes, tufted leather bar stools, hardwood details, mosaic tile floors and subtle lighting.
The 2,500-square-foot open kitchen near the front of the restaurant will be shared with sister Peas & Carrots concept, Arthur Avenue, an Italian restaurant which is slated to open in several weeks. The group currently operates five restaurants in Michigan and Chicago.
