SafeCardID.com, an online supplier of Photo ID System security programs and printers is expanding. Immediately available are new HID proximity cards which can be customized to augment business security with enhanced facility access tracking.
Online PR News – 23-September-2010 – – Safe Card ID, one of the industry’s most popular retailers of business security products, is expanding to offer a new lineup of completely customizable HID proximity cards, tags, and key fobs. Used in conjunction with and existing photo id system from Safe Card ID, the HID proximity cards offer employers an extra level of business access security.
The newest HID cards offered by the company include a number of different types. The DuoProx II cards, for example can be purchased in multiples of 100. The cards are completely programmable access cards that allow security managers to combine employee ID card security with the enhanced safety features of magnetic stripe encoding all on one card. Each HID card is ISO 7810 compliant. Dimensions of the cards are similar to a standard credit card, and they are about 30 ml in thickness. The surfaces of each card are high-quality, making it possible to print clear, accurate, and reliable photo IDs.
Additionally, Safe Card ID will also make the HID ISO Prox II cards available to its online customers. These cards are sold in quantities of 100, and they can be used to allow business managers to use photo IDs and door lock access security on the same card. The Prox Card II models are similar, but they do not come with a printable surface. This means they cannot be used for photo ID printing. They are also the size of a traditional plastic credit card, and they can be used to monitor access to the business ground at all entry access points any time of day.
A third type of card offered by SafeCardID.com includes the MICROPROX Tag and HID Proximity key fob products. They vary in both size and function from the other HID cards. Each of these devices is designed for use with security access locks, but they do not allow any kind of printing directly to the device. However, the MICROPROX Tag, can still be hooked up to an non-metallic card or device and used to adapt photo ID badges into proximity cards in an instant. They Key Fobs device is about the size of a typical car key, and it is instantly compatible with other HID proximity readers. To keep track of devices, an external control number is listed on each tag. Each of these devices are sold in packs of 100 as well.
Safe Card ID’s HID card make it easier to implement improved business security systems. Many safety consultants are encouraging small business owners to incorporate more rigorous security systems, because enhanced systems make it easier to protect clients, employees, and visitors from security threats. Access code entries are one of the top ways that access to restricted areas can be protected at today’s businesses.
