GoodSide Studio was awarded a Silver ADDY Award in the category of Online Video Campaign for several episodes of the Passion for Pictures web video series they produced for their client, Getty Images in 2008.
Online PR News – 31-March-2009 – – The ADDY Awards are the world’s largest, most prestigious and arguably toughest advertising competition. According to the American Advertising Federation, it is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry, for the advertising industry. Ad Club Seattle President George Riddel is quoted on their website as saying "Year after year, the ADDY Awards process honors the very best advertising work, whether it was created on Madison Avenue or Main Street USA.” Out of 400 entries, only 72 awards were given out in the Puget Sound division of the ADDY awards.
The awards were presented at a gala celebration on March 20th at Sodo Park in Seattle. GoodSide Studio Creative Director Matt Krzycki was on hand to accept the award and said “I’m honored to have our work considered for such a prestigious award, and to actually take one home is just fantastic. I think much of the credit has to go to Getty for being such a great client. The interviews are fascinating and the images are stunning, so it makes my job is a pleasure to do.”
The videos highlight the work of award winning Getty photographers with in depth interviews conducted by Getty CEO and Co-Founder, Jonathan Klein. The videos delve into what it took to capture some very well known images and into life of being a professional photographer.
