Reliance Bank Names Susan Chapman as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending

Chapman brings 25 years of experience in the banking industry to Reliance Bank.

Chapman comes to Reliance Bank from Heartland Bank where she was initially recruited to manage and strategically reposition under-performing and non-performing loans. Subsequently, she went on to become a top producer of commercial loans year after year at the bank. Prior to Heartland Bank, Chapman played an integral role in starting a loan production office for a bank in Phoenix, Ariz., which went on to become a successful and well-established banking institution in the market.

Chapman brings 25 years of experience in the banking industry to Reliance Bank, including several years as a senior credit officer with a $3 billion bank, playing a key role in restructuring the institution’s real estate lending and construction policy manual, and presenting educational seminars on real estate lending.

Chapman graduated from the School of Business & Public Administration at the University of Arizona, obtaining a bachelor’s degree and graduating with honors.

Originally from Arizona, Chapman has called St. Louis home for the past seven years and looks forward to working with the team at Reliance Bank.
