Oliveira, who studied composition at the Rogerio Koury Conservatory and the prestigious Tatuí Conservatory is one of Brazil’s most important emerging composers. The recipient of several awards and commendations, he was most recently a semifinalist in the 2015 Maurice Ravel International Composition Competition.
