Online PR News – 22-September-2010 – – After a period on sabbatical spending our time in the mountain fortress of Gwalior, the deepest darkest rainforests of Papa New Guinea and the local boozer the Band of Slugs is back, and more ferocious than ever.
Band of Slugs was first born in July 2009 when the Band felt it was time that the blog revolution had to begin. The original premise was to deliver our readership with anything from the latest musings about international politics to developments in the world of sport, fashion, entertainment and the world of celebrity.
Whilst the Band of Slugs may have lost their way, courted by the bright lights of Las Vegas, Blackpool and the fruit machines in our local we can safely say that "we are back with a vengeance, literally chomping at the bit to start reporting on the latest news, views, gossip and booze." Our style of reporting is relaxed to say the least and we are almost always liberal with the facts; in all honesty facts aren’t really what we deal in, particularly when we are poking fun at celebrities and public figures.
As part of our process of re-launching the Bad of Slugs blog it is essential that we repeat that none of the stories published on the blog should be considered factual or come to think of it even newsworthy. However we would also like to stress that they are in the most part entertaining and in the rarest of cases may even cause the odd smile or two.
