A night to celebrate VIP NeuroRehabilitation Center patients, staff, and families

Online PR News – 16-September-2015 – San Diego, CA – VIP NeuroRehabilitation Center (VIP) will hold its 1st Annual Rock & Roll Fundraiser at the Mission Beach Women’s Club on Thursday, October 29, 2015. They will share success stories of those who have made great strides in their physical recovery, raffle prizes, and live music.

The goal of the night is to celebrate VIP patients, staff, and families. VIP hopes to raise $15,000 to enable them to continue to offer therapy at the lowest cost possible.

VIP, a 501c3 non-profit, provides top quality outpatient neurorehabiliative care to disabled military, veterans, children, and to all who are in need. VIP treats patients from ages 4 years old and up, with a focus on those who have difficulty moving secondary to Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury, and multiple traumas.

The facility utilizes the most modern equipment and advanced technologies. VIP works as a team in which the patient plays an active role. Every therapy is customized to help individuals reach their full potential.

Since October 2014, VIP has been run for and by the patients. Current VIP patient and former Navy SEAL, David Charbonnet, and his wife, Janet, have been donating their time as President and Secretary of the non-profit. They strive to improve VIP’s operations and enable VIP to reach more people in need. Charbonnet has been a patient at VIP since a parachuting accident in 2011, which left him paralyzed. Through VIP’s therapy he has been able to achieve a greater quality of life than what originally seemed possible.

VIP is currently seeking support to reach their fundraiser goal. VIP is need of monetary donations as well as donations for food, drink, and raffle items. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and can be made online or by mail.
