Broadsword Expands CMMI Training Classes

Broadsword has added to its popular “Intro CMMI-DEV” course on September 15-17th: the 1-day “CMMI-SVC” training takes place on Sept. 18th, in Novi, Michigan.

Online PR News – 09-September-2015 – Detroit, MI – Today Broadsword Solutions Corporation (Broadsword), a leading performance innovation company for the engineering and software industries, announced that it has added a training course to its offerings on the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration, or CMMI. A supplement to the company’s popular “Introduction to CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV)” course on September 15-17th, the one-day “CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC)” training takes place on September 18th, in Novi, Michigan.

CMMI is a world-class behavioral model for engineering performance improvement that was developed at Carnegie Mellon University. The Model offers several “constellations,” or collections of process areas, including CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC and CMMI for Acquisitions (CMMI-ACQ). The CMMI-SVC constellation provides guidance for applying CMMI best practices in a service provider organization, and covers many of the elements that are missing in other areas, particularly customer service.

“We’re pleased to expand our offering of CMMI training classes,” said Broadsword’s president, Jeff Dalton, who is one of 419 Certified Lead Appraisers worldwide, and has conducted over 100 CMMI training classes. “In the CMMI for Services class, you’ll learn to focus on building services and products that support your business strategy, such as how to deploy and improve customer service, and increase customer satisfaction, helping you be as great at delivering services as you know you can be.”

Those interested in signing up for the CMMI-SVC training and CMMI-DEV training classes in Michigan are invited to register by visiting the Broadsword Solutions web site.
