New Guitar Challenges engage Lick Library's users on Facebook.
Online PR News – 14-September-2010 – – Lick Library, the leading provider of guitar tuition products to guitarists around the world, has begun offering Guitar Challenges to followers of its Facebook page. Each weekend the Lick Library team offer a new challenge to tackle.
Week 1 provided guitarists with the chance of creating their own piece to a bass performance by Phil Williams.
Those who wish to take part can watch and listen to a video of Phil giving his bass performance, and then improvise over the top of it whilst filming themselves.
Once musicians have added their own twist to the track, they can upload it to Youtube for all to enjoy – adding it as a response to the original Youtube video. For those who want to let their friends see their performance, they can also post it on Facebook.
Lick Library came up with the Challenge idea to encourage musicians to push themselves, to learn new skills, practice and of course most importantly - to have fun. Lick Library also offer free technique lessons to help. Week 1 of the Facebook challenges started on the 27th of August.
Lick Library is committed to helping those who play the bass, drums and guitar to improve their skills by using the latest video tuition techniques, including the company’s highly effective split screen videos. As a central point of reference for thousands of musicians around the world, the Lick Library website provides a wide range of guitar lesson resources, including news and videos as well as information about forthcoming tuition products.
