The site is divided into three main sections representing the different wood materials offered by reSAWN - shou sugi ban charred wood siding, RSTco. custom wood furniture, and wood flooring & wall cladding.

The shou sugi ban section of the site includes new content on the shou sugi ban process and materials - such as resiliency + impact resistance, care + maintenance, grade + milling options, and interior + exterior options. New projects include NOMURA shou sugi ban charred reclaimed hemlock at Gensler’s Philadelphia Office; MURASAKI shou sugi ban charred cypress at the restaurant Nandos Peri-Peri in Baltimore; and MOYASU shou sugi ban charred cypress for the entrance to the ABOVE night club at the hip Southside OVOLO hotel in Hong Kong.

The RSTco. furniture section of the site features inspirational images of handcrafted furniture to springboard the design process. reSAWN’s process is a collaborative one - we work with architects and interior designers to bring their custom wood furniture designs to life.

Improved functionality includes a fully responsive design, quicker load times, searchable content, and easy online Samples ordering. Users can browse reSAWN’s flooring and wall cladding collections, place samples in their cart and continue to browse while refining their selection. Architects, Designers and Contractors can contact reSAWN at for a code to order samples at no cost through the website. The site will also allow you to securely register your account to keep track of what samples you have ordered in the past.
