The outsourcing company partnered with health and wellness companies Merck & Co., White Flower, Four Eyes, and High Top Sure Marketing. The event is mainly an exhibit of health products such as organic oils and medicines that can guard against complications that are common among office workers.
Pharmaceutical company Merck & Co. distributed free product samples of a vitamin B supplement, complemented with a game activity and a product demonstration. White Flower, on the other hand, offered free massage and ear candling services.
Aside from these, optical shop Four Eyes conducted a free computerized eye examination as well as a free eye assessment and consultation with their licensed optometrists. High Top Sure Marketing also displayed their organic products, which included organic massage and therapeutic oils.
Office workers are more prone to muscle aches, eye complications, and motor problems due to the nature of the job, which requires sitting in front of a computer for long periods. The activities mentioned served as a reminder for employees to stay healthy and combat these negative health impacts.
Over 100 employees attended the event, where they were also given flyers and other informational materials aside from free product samples.
This event is part of the company’s ongoing drive to promote health and wellness in the office. Last May, the company participated in the Cervical Cancer Awareness Month in an event that aimed to educate employees about the disease that commonly plagues women. Next month, however, the company plans to conduct a cervical and flu vaccination program for its employees.
