Producers Steve Stanulis and John Gallagher have optioned the comedy script "The Move" by Brian Kelly and Chris Russel.
Online PR News – 30-June-2015 – New York, NY – Stanulis Productions and 305 Media Group are excited to announce they have optioned the feature comedy screenplay The Move from the writing team of Brian Vincent Kelly and Chris Russel. Producer/actor Stanulis calls the script “one of the funniest screenplays I’ve ever read, with a quirky, edgy, downright laugh-out-loud quality.”
Director Gallagher enthuses about its “great roles for an ensemble cast, and its farcical narrative about a ladies’ man who hires macho love coaches to transform his older brother from dud to stud by Valentine's Day. It’s sexy, romantic, hilarious, and like the best movie comedies, loaded with heart.”
Russel, educated at Boston University, is a standup comedian and writer who has also appeared in The Girl’s Guide to Depravity and Lunatics, Lovers & Actors. Kelly, a Juilliard graduate, is an actor with two dozen films to his credit, and has worked with Gallagher on nine films.
Stanulis and Gallagher recently collaborated on the feature comedy-drama The Networker, starring Stanulis, who also produced. Directed by Gallagher, it features William Forsythe (The Rock), Sean Young (Blade Runner), Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black), Stephen Baldwin (The Usual Suspects), Jeremy Luke (Jersey Boys), Deborah Twiss (Kick-Ass), Al Sapienza (House of Cards), Joe D’Onofrio (Goodfellas), and Brian Kelly.
