QlikView Dashboards Outperform Competitors in Several Key Areas According to Aberdeen Group Report

End users report QlikView 30% more likely to be driven by line of business users; Rank above best in class for accuracy, speed of development and affordability

The Aberdeen Group surveyed 400 end-user organizations during May and June of 2010 regarding their implementation, use, derived value and future plans related to dashboards. It identified the top 20 percent of performers in the survey as “Best-in-Class.”

The findings showed QlikView users performed at the top of categories including:
• Accuracy - QlikView users attained 100.9 percent accuracy of revenue and 100.3 percent accuracy of bottom line budget.
• Affordability: QlikView’s per-user costs of dashboards ranked better than Best-in-Class at $22.41—roughly one-quarter less than Best-in-Class at $28.53
• Rapid Deployment: QlikView users can modify existing dashboards from conception to completion in a single day, compared to a 3.5 day average for all survey respondents.
• Data Relevance: QlikView users are 20 percent more likely than Best-in-Class users and 40 percent more likely than all users to prioritize source data for end user access. This function allows managers to assemble the most relevant data and adjust and experiment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) freely.
