Online PR News – 26-May-2015 – Dallas, Texas – FASTEX AED is pleased to announce the addition of Cody Arledge, Plano, TX (Yale University) and Michelle Riggs, Dallas, TX (Baylor University), as Summer Interns. Mr. Arledge’s and Ms. Riggs’ responsibilities include introducing the products and services of FASTEX AED to college students throughout the United States in an effort to increase the awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, the number one cause of death in the U.S., regardless of age, gender or fitness level.
Cody brings enthusiasm and experience to the mission of FASTEX AED as a Yale Football player and a former Plano West High School football team captain. Cody started 25 consecutive games at left tackle, earned two varsity letters, was two-time all-district, Texas's top 25 offensive linemen, All-State academic team, helped his team advance to Texas 10-5A 2012 state quarterfinals and was a member of the National Honor Society. Cody Arledge is the son of Craig and Beverly Arledge. Mr. Craig Arledge played football at the University of Texas. Mrs. Arledge is in management in the Plano Independent School District. Cody is majoring in Economics at Yale University. He enjoys hunting, fishing, gun-repair, shooting, and playing basketball.
Michelle brings enthusiasm and experience to the mission of FASTEX AED as a club volleyball player at Baylor University and a former head lifeguard for the City of Plano. Michelle Riggs is the daughter of Michael and Fran Riggs. Michael was a former U.S. Marine, firefighter/paramedic and is currently involved in promoting first aid for cardiac arrest through FASTEX AED. Fran is the President of FASTEX AED. Michelle is majoring in Political Science at Baylor University, where she is attending on an academic scholarship, is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and is the Panhellenic Junior Delegate.
