Proceeds benefit safe haven house on two acres in Brentwood CA
Online PR News – 24-May-2015 – Brentwood, CA – The 1st Annual Giant Step Hole In One Golf Tournament took place on May 16, 2015, at Lone Tree Golf Course in Antioch, CA. The event's sponsorships and donations benefited the Giant Step Brentwood Youth Program, Brentwood, CA.
Tournament committee members, Kathy Stevens and Debbi Pulliam issued a “thank you” to partners, sponsors, underwriters and volunteers.
"Continued contributions of $100, $200 or $250 to our organization are greatly appreciated by private and corporate sponsors. They will be recognized in local and national recognition in press releases," stated Kathy Stevens, Director of Giant Step Brentwood Program.
Sponsors, underwriters and donation providers for the Hole In One contest included: L. A. Sweet Tooth Confections from Los Angeles, Costco, Hope Lopez-Sanders, Hazel's, Brentwood Auto Spa, Tailgaters Bar and Grill, Lexus Firestone, Gary Nix, Richard Vass, Mike Patania, and Pastor Gary West.
“We raised funds and awareness for an incredible cause. Giant Step is grateful to everyone who participated,” said Fran Briggs, Director of Marketing and Sponsorships. “We're pleased with our dynamic golf committee, Lone Tree's Activities Director and GM, Ron Parish, and Rick Armstrong for their hospitality and support."
The beneficiary foundation is a non profit organization. Since 2004, Giant Step Brentwood Youth Program has been a safe haven house on two acres in Brentwood CA. Caring adult staff mentor and help this population grow spiritually and socially. Young people cultivate their ideas and talents through participation in weekly dinners, gardening, art shows, concerts, and other activities.
