Reliance Bank Combines Coffee and Banking with New Branch in Frontenac

New branch will feature one of the very first Tim Hortons locations in St. Louis.

Online PR News – 22-May-2015 – ST. LOUIS – Reliance Bank, a subsidiary of Reliance Bancshares, Inc. (OTCPK: RLBS), has recently announced the grand opening of their newest branch in Frontenac. The innovative new branch, which will include one of the first Tim Hortons Café & Bake Shop locations in St. Louis, is slated to open in July.

The new branch will feature a traditional look and an innovative floor plan that boasts the latest technology, along with a Tim Hortons Express Café. Customers will be able to enjoy a coffee drink or baked goods as they conduct their banking transactions with Reliance Bank.

The idea to include Tim Hortons Café & Bake Shop with a Reliance branch was dreamed up by President and CEO Rick Sems.

“Combining two separate facilities into one is a win-win for our customers since they will be able to take care of their banking needs and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in one single location,” Sems said. “This helps turning the everyday chore of going to the bank into a productive coffee run.”

Reliance Bank hopes that customers who come into the building to do banking will also stop to purchase coffee and vice versa.

Reliance Bank aims to redevelop its branch in Des Peres to feature a Starbucks store inside late this summer. In the future, the Bank plans to feature coffee shops in additional branches if the idea takes off.

Tim Hortons Café & Bake Shop is famous for its premium blend coffee. With a menu that includes a wide selection of hot and cold specialty drinks, iced coffees, blended drinks, and fresh baked goods, the Express Café, located in the new Reliance Bank, will be a sweet amenity for the Bank’s customers.
