Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria, Modern Brewery To Host Tap Takeover Event

Event will feature eight locally-brewed beers, which will be paired with a delicious three-course meal from Katie's.

Online PR News – 18-June-2015 – ST. LOUIS – Katie’s Pizza and Pasta, a local Italian eatery, will be hosting a Tap Takeover event with Modern Brewery Tues., June 2 from open to close at their location in Rock Hill.

Guests will enjoy a total of eight different locally brewed beers along with a special three-course meal to pair with their beer tastings. These beers include LouDog, a summer pale ale, Green Goliath, a double IPA, and Clandestine, a Belgian brown, just to name a few.

“We are excited to partner with Modern Brewery to host this Tap Takeover event,” said Katie Lee Collier, owner of Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria. “We love working with local St. Louis companies and organizations, and we know this will be a fun event for all.”

Modern Brewery started in 2014 by two local St. Louis natives, Beamer Eisele and Ronnie Fink. After graduating college and experiencing first-hand what working in a brewery was like, the two decided to go into business together to bring St. Louis the finest craft beer.

Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria is open every day from 11 a.m. to midnight and features Happy Hour specials from 4 to 6 p.m. Carry-outs are also available.
