Twenty block-buster stars sing and celebrate New the music of Grammy Award-winning composer Larry Kerchner Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 6 PM
Online PR News – 19-May-2015 – New York, NY – The fourth edition of Kerchner’s Hidden Treasures lands at the world-famous jazz and music club, Birdland, following three preceding sold-out shows around town. The powerhouse cast incudes luminaries Klea Blackhurst, Carole J. Bufford, Jim Brochu, Dennis Chiccino, Alexis Cole, Natalie Douglas, Shana Farr, Eric Michael Gillett, Nina Hennessey, Marissa Mulder, Mark Nadler, Karen Oberlin, Stacy Sullivan and Nick Ziobro, under the Musical Direction of Hubert “Tex” Arnold. This outstanding company of musical talents will perform tunes written and arranged by Kerchner, including favorites “My Deepest Love,” “Hot Tambú,” “Somewhere In Time” and “Home,” to name a few.
Show producer, Sandi Durell calls Kerchner “one of the most versatile and multi-talented people in the music industry." According to Durell, "he has an enormous body of work body of work as a composer and lyricist, and as an instrumental arranger and composer has more than 300 works published for symphonic band, concert band, jazz band, marching band, orchestra and chorus. And all these talents will be on display at this tribute concert featuring top notch vocalists and musicians!”
In addition to Tex Arnold on piano, Hidden Treasures IV features renowned musicians Tom Hubbard on bass, Sean Harkness on guitar, and Ray Marchica on drums.
