Able Rehab Strengthens Its CPQ Process With Configure One

Australian healthcare and rehabilitation equipment provider picks Configure One integrated to NetSuite® to streamline the way its CPQ process works.

Online PR News – 14-May-2015 – OAK BROOK, IL – Leading provider of Web-based product configurator and CPQ (configure, price, quote) software Configure One™ ( is proud to be the provider of choice for Australia’s leading provider of mobility, nursing and home healthcare equipment, Able Rehabilitation Equipment. After conducting an extensive search for the right solution for its needs, Able Rehab selected Configure One’s Concept Enterprise Product Configurator®, a solution that came highly recommended from another company and is offered alongside professional, responsive help from the Configure One team.

“Initially we were looking for a single system that would cover ERP, CRM and CPQ, but didn’t find one that met our requirements,” said Ms. Anderson, CFO at Able Rehab. “We then focused on looking for systems that were tightly integrated with user friendly interface. We selected NetSuite as our ERP system, therefore finding a NetSuite partner with seamless integration was essential.”

We then focused on looking for systems that were tightly integrated with user friendly interface. We selected NetSuite as our ERP system therefore finding a NetSuite partner with seamless integration was essential.

In business since 1981, Able Rehab is a family-owned business that has been supplying products to healthcare and rehabilitation markets for more than 30 years. Today it is known as a preferred supplier for hospitals, elderly care facilities, insurance companies and more. When implementing Australia’s NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), it presented Able Rehab with a new challenge, the company knew it urgently needed to overhaul its systems and business practices —and that was why it turned to Concept.

The NDIS transferred funding for the disabled from organizations to individuals. As Ms. Anderson explained, “As a result of these changes we are no longer selling primarily in bulk to nursing homes, hospitals and care facilities, but increasingly to individuals. This has led to smaller sales orders, more variability and customization. We didn’t have the ability to effectively configure and build a product that is cost-effective for the client. Our manual systems couldn’t cope with the volume, and we were in danger of missing out on a great opportunity.”

By implementing Configure One’s Concept Enterprise Product Configurator, Able Rehab expects to transform its business practices for the better. “Our current process involves visiting a hospital and nursing home to collect information. Notes are then entered into the system and a bill of materials is created manually. The back and forth could take up to six weeks. With Concept we will be able to configure a product right in front of the Occupational Therapist, and show exactly what it will look like instantaneously. This will significantly speed up the quote-to-order and process, make the company more efficient and get our products to customers sooner.”

At Configure One, Aleks La Rosa, a Senior Sales Executive expressed the company is pleased to be helping Able Rehab. “We are very excited to be working with our first Australian customers. Concept is ideal for first time users as it’s so easy to use and maintain. We are confident that Concept integrated to NetSuite will significantly improve Able Rehab’s CPQ process.”
