Phoenix magazine's annual 'Top Doc' issue honored Dr. Robert Cohen, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Scottsdale, for the fourth time in 6 years.

Online PR News – 12-April-2015 – Scottsdale, Arizona – Dr. Robert Cohen (www.robertcohenmd.com), a board-certified plastic surgeon in Scottsdale specializing in breast augmentation, has been recognized once again in Phoenix magazine's annual "Top Doc" issue.

"I'm so pleased to be honored for my dedication to patient care," Dr. Cohen says. "Being recognized in the Top Doc issue for the fourth time in 6 years reflects the consistency that my staff and I strive for each and every day."

Phoenix magazine's Top Doc issue, now in its 21st year, is its most popular. It sells about twice as many copies as other issues each year. The doctors included in the issue are nominated by colleagues who are then surveyed by the magazine.

The survey of 5,000 randomly selected physicians in the Phoenix area asks them to select the best physicians in their field of practice. Only board-certified physicians are included on the list. Dr. Cohen says that makes it a very valuable resource for patients researching doctors.

"The Top Doc issue is a good starting point for finding a plastic surgeon who has the experience and training necessary for great results," Dr. Cohen says. "Potential patients can take a look at the magazine and know already that all the doctors listed there have been vetted and recommended by their peers."

Besides breast augmentation, Dr. Cohen performs various plastic surgery procedures, including breast lift and tummy tuck surgery at his Scottsdale practice. His patients often refer friends or family members to him, he says, and being included in the magazine's Top Doc issue helps him reach even more community residents considering plastic surgery.

The Scottsdale physician's dedication to the plastic surgery field also extends into research. His ongoing interest in improving outcomes for patients is reflected in the number of research papers he's presented in the past year alone. Additionally, he was asked to serve as an instructor in 2014 at the national meetings of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons® and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

"Earning the respect of patients and colleagues alike is an ongoing process," Dr. Cohen says. "Ultimately, the goal for me and everyone else at my practice is to offer patients the best procedures and surgical techniques available when they entrust us with their care. I'm glad to be recognized in that effort."
