The sale is showcasing properties across eight major cities namely Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Coimbatore.
As stipulated, initially Rs 10,000 has to be paid as online booking amount by those who want to book a property while the rest of the amount will be transacted offline. ICICI Bank is the financial partner for the sale.
"During a recent stint as an online partner of Credai Fairpro, 30% of our traffic came from mobile devices which gave us enormous confidence that people are open to exploring and booking property online," said Murlikrishnan B, chief operating officer of IndiaProperty.com.
According to Murlikrishnan, people are becoming increasingly open to booking properties online. "We expect more than 30% traffic from mobile devices during the sale. Already about 20,000 to 30,000 people have visited us and looked at our pre-registration options (for the sale). A few thousand buyers have already pre-registered for the entire promotion," he claimed.
Also organised with the view of observing the response and behaviour of consumers on exploring properties online, the show will end on 23rd March.
"The online real-estate market in India is at a very early stage while it is growing extremely rapidly," Murlikrishnan said. "We want to focus on investing in products, technology and customer experience."
The portal is using the 'TruView' technology to give aerial view and 3D floor plan to buyers on both desktop and mobiles. Simultaneously, IndiaProperty.com is optimistic of builders such as Nirmal Lifestyle, Wave Infratech, Indiabulls, Malles Constructions giving exclusive offers during the sale.
