Online PR News – 03-April-2015 – WILKES-BARRE, Penn. – The Stevie Awards have taken place every year since 2002 and have also been referred to in the past as the International Business Awards and the American Business Awards. These awards provide recognition for successful companies and individual professionals in customer service, human resources, marketing, sales, information and technology, and more. Thousands of nominations are received each year and are narrowed down to a few hundred awards handed out on an annual basis.
In order to ensure the most deserving winners are picked to receive Stevie Awards, the organization behind the awards chooses several judges for each category. For example, top sales professionals at successful corporations are selected to review all of the nominations for exemplary salespeople and/or sales teams. Reviewing all of the submissions is not an easy task and can be time-consuming. However, thorough review is necessary to preserve the integrity of the awards, so judges must be selected carefully each year.
