The campaign, that will cover 8 villages across 6 states, aims to support about 8500 of the rural population.
The campaign will be executed in the villages of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand. Kent RO will be associating with the Art of Living to execute and implement this campaign in these villages: Narayena Rajupeta, Shirdhar Jawala, Burhanpur, Tarambakapur, Muldaspur, Inayatgarhi, Naudihi and Moolathara.
The projectâ€™s main objective is to provide safe drinking water along with creating awareness about hygiene practices, sanitization and water borne diseases. Kent RO water systems will spend Rs. 1 crore on providing necessary drinking water, sanitation and toilet facilities to women and children from rural areas that have negligible access to these basic hygiene facilities.
1,100 water purifiers and 249 toilets will be built by Kent RO purifiers for the WASH campaign. Kent RO has not only been the largest water purifying company but also has become an epitome of a socially responsible brand.
