Fourth Annual “Wine & Dine” Benefit to Raise Awareness for Domestic Violence

Irvine residence to host more than 100 guests in support of Laura’s House

Online PR News – 01-April-2015 – Ladera Ranch, CA – Laura’s House, a nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and education of domestic violence, will host its fourth annual “Wine & Dine” event at a private residence in Irvine on May 3, 2015. The event, hosted by Laura’s House board member Laura Khouri and husband Michael Hayde, will raise funds for the nonprofit’s critical programs, including its emergency shelter, therapeutic counseling services, legal advocacy, transitional housing and 24/7 crisis hotline.

“The growth of our Wine & Dine benefit over the past four years is inspiring, as the community continues to gather to raise funds for services designed to provide Laura’s House clients with the same health, happiness and safety enjoyed by our event guests,” said Margaret Bayston, executive director of Laura’s House. “If the impact of our organization ends with those we serve, it most definitely begins with those who serve the organization, including the many familiar supporters we anticipate seeing – and other new friends of the organization we look forward to meeting this year.”
Starting at 2 p.m., Laura’s House supporters will have the chance to taste 60 different wines. Wine connoisseur Dr. Frank Murray, along with Vino Paraiso Wine Store proprietor Yvette Poe, will lead guests through a blind tasting contest.
