Beginning in September, Alecia Stringer, a Alecia Stringer, a professional music teacher with over 10 years of experience, will offer group piano classes at her studio in Gray, GA.
Online PR News – 08-September-2009 – – Students will learn concepts such as mastery of rhythm counting, keyboard geography, and staff reading.
Classes will be grouped (with no more than 4 per class) as follows: ages 5-6, ages 7-9, ages 10-12, and ages 13-adult. Mrs. Stringer has found that students learn musical concepts faster in a group setting than they do on an individual basis. “My experience with group lessons shows that children study piano for a longer period of time in groups. I believe children enjoy the process of learning in a group,” says Stringer.
A 2006 Gallup poll indicates that 84% of those who didn’t learn a musical instrument wish they had learned to play one. She is offering classes for ages 5-95, so those who have such regrets still have time to develop the ability to play the piano. Stringer offers a free consultation and visit to her studio.
Alecia Stringer has a B.A. degree in Music Education from Western Kentucky University. She has taught piano, voice, and choir in four states, both privately and in the pubic school system.
