Online PR News – 21-March-2015 – Atlanta, GA – Rated ETA is delighted to host the National TV and Film Expo. The event brings production experts, casting, actors, stunt coordinators, crew personnel, and business leaders together with a focus on education and employment in Georgia's expanding TV and Film industry. "If you have an interest in working in the TV and Film industry, this conference is a must attend event. Everyone from every walk of life with varying backgrounds, experiences, education, and incomes can be involved, trained and employed in this wonderful industry," said David Griffith, Rated ETA's Senior Partner.
With the expansion of the TV and Film industry in the region, Rated ETA recognizes the importance of meeting the growing demand for qualified, experienced, and available resources. As a company, Rated ETA focuses on education in three areas, undergraduate degree programs, technical and associate programs, and continuing education and training. Through Rated ETA's Education & Training Alliance, resources will have the capability to identify, pursue, and broaden their education within the TV and Film industry. Combining the ability to find career opportunities with the education and experience needed to meet those qualifications creates a winning proposition. "We simply need to open the door of possibility. The all-day conference bundled with training, professional headshots, and platform registration provides the basic elements necessary for employment," said Griffith.
Actors, crew members, background actors, and support resources now have a state-of-the-art platform that matches job opportunities to specific people and then notifies those specific people with a text message about the job opportunity. STARS® offers a unique value to the companies who hire the resources and to the resources who seek to be hired. Through the STARS® system, resources will have the exposure required to be favorably considered for opportunities in the TV and Film industry.
Our lineup includes a prominent Director as the Key Note Speaker. We welcome Stan Houston, the actor who played Sheriff Jim Clark in the Academy winning movie, Selma to lead our Actor's Panel. Varying training presentations to include: Acting Up New Talent Presentation, Stunt Presentation, and Crew Training by Clayton State University will be offered throughout the day. Professional headshots, STARS® registration, and personal interaction with our team in an intimate setting offers a wonderful experience for all our attendees.
Tickets for the National TV and Film Expo can be purchased through contacting Groupon. We are pleased to support both the Black Belt Community Foundation from Selma, Alabama and Young Voices United from Atlanta who will be headlining our conference entertainment called, "Why We Perform." Together our organizations can make a positive impact on our youth, community, and industry.
