Steinert Announces Adam Minter as Keynote Speaker for 2015 Expo

Author of Junkyard Planet has covered the global recycling industry for more than a decade.

Online PR News – 19-March-2015 – March 18, 2015 Walton, KY – STEINERT US is thrilled to announce that Adam Minter, the Asia-based columnist for Bloomberg View and author of Junkyard Planet: Travels in the Billion-Dollar Trash Trade will be the keynote speaker for the company’s annual STEINERT Expo in August.

In 2002, Mr. Minter began a series of groundbreaking investigative pieces on China’s emerging recycling industries for Scrap and Recycling International that were recognized with the first Stephen Barr Award for individual excellence in business feature writing in 2004. He has been cited, quoted, and interviewed on recycling and waste by a range of international media, including The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Vice, The Guardian, and National Public Radio.

The Steinert Expo 2015 is a 2-day event offering training, executive sessions and access to an Expo featuring top companies in the industry. The company hosts a “Casino Night” during the event to raise money for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

This is the 4th year for the STEINERT Expo, being held August 25-26, 2015 at the North American headquarters of the company in Walton, Kentucky. Registration for the event begins April 21, 2015, during the ISRI Convention.
