YouTube Shines a Light on New Ways to Promote Music During SXSW at Coppertank in Austin

Musicians can find new ways to connect with fans and promote their music with the help of YouTube’s Music Experience March 18th – 20th at SXSW.

Online PR News – 19-March-2015 – Austin, Texas – As music fans from all over the globe convene in Austin for the world’s leading music industry event, South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media Conference, Coppertank Events Center brings YouTube’s Music Experience to visitors in a specially-designed, LED neon-accented space. YouTube and music are a natural match-up, and now artists can discover even more ways to promote their music, connect with fans, and share what they love with the world at this year’s SXSW Music and Media Conference in Austin, Texas on March 18th, 19th, and 20th. LED neon lights will guide the way into Coppertank with the iconic signage on the roof top and building walls as well as throughout the space on bars, columns, video wall, stage, and a special dimensional wall customized for the event. The transformed space includes the record feature wall with vacuumformed, replica “vinyl” record albums that have been painted and arranged to form the YouTube logo that has a neon LED “Play” button. Working with SayOK Advertising to fabricate elements for the event, Dallas’ Mecca Design and Production, a boutique scenic element and services design/build group, crafted the customized, replica albums paying close attention to detail with labels and giving them the ability to spin. Fans will be treated to three days of live performances on a stage with an 8’ x 20’ graphic background complete with LED neon accents, surrounded by LED neon-accented columns transformed for the event. Additionally, Mecca constructed two large bars and two small bars with LED neon accents, as well as special walls and video wall dĂ©cor.
