Singapore, 13 March 2015 – MindWave Solutions Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based technology solutions provider, was recently announced as a finalist at the 3rd APAC Eldercare Innovation Awards.
“To be shortlisted as a finalist against some very strong contenders in the Best Technology for Operational Efficiency category is a huge honour for us. We implemented the country’s first Medicine Distribution Management System (MDMS) for our client, All Saints Home, and are glad to note that our efforts to enhance elder care through technology is receiving regional recognition”, shares Vin Menon, the Chairman of MindWave Solutions.
At present, eldercare facilities are facing challenges in their medicine dispensing system, and caregivers were unable to track and identify the right route of the medications administered.
Vin Menon added, “We identified the gap, and introduced the MDMS to ensure the effectiveness of the five Rights – Right Patient, Right Medication, Right Dose, Right Time, and Right Route.”
Visitors can look forward to MindWave’s showcase of its Medicine Distribution Management System with added features, including resident monitoring, at the 6th Ageing Asia Innovation Forum, held in conjunction with the Awards, from 14 – 15 April 2015 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.
