Online PR News – 24-August-2010 – – MENLO PARK, California (August TK, 2010) – The world’s best concert photographers are now being showcased in a new website called Mobbed Music.com. Mobbed Music launched last week with a special collection of TK concert photos, each hand-selected by founder and editor, Michael Corwin.

Smaller and more focused on quality than social giants Flickr and Facebook, Mobbed Music is an edited selection of only the most engaging photography websites and blogs on the web. The site is updated daily and features an ever-growing number of acclaimed photographers.
“Instead of sifting through an endless amount of photos from multiple sources, now fans, photographers and industry insiders can easily access the best concert photos in one place,” says Corwin. “And we’re adding more every day—but only the good stuff. People can come to the site again and again because they know they’ll be entertained every time.”

To be selected, professional photographers submit photos from their websites or blogs. Corwin chooses which are displayed on the site. Top photographers are featured multiple times from various events.

Featured photographers benefit in two ways: Exposure plus site traffic. The name of each photographer’s website is prominently displayed and links to websites are provided as well.
Users are able to rate, save and comment on each photo, creating a dialogue with photographers and other fans.
