What’s Going On! is a compilation of my photographs taken from 1969-1974—by UC Berkeley Professor Ken Light when he was 18, and is now on kickstarter.

Online PR News – 15-February-2015 – Berkeley, California – What’s Going On! a photo kickstarter campaign by Professor Ken Light is 40% funded after 2 1/2 days. His campaign is to reach $30,000 to self publish his book of photographs taken starting when he was 18 years old. It is a compilation of my photographs taken from 1969-1974— It tells our story –how I saw America and the actions of the Boomer generation through the lens of a 35mm camera starting when I was 18 years old. Some of the pictures were published in underground newspapers back in the day, and a lot were not. Professor Light says, "he has embraced the new model of the 21st century to take control of publishing his work, and I want to bypass the traditional model. After having book published by eight prestigious publishers from Aperture, Smithsonian Institution Press and University of California Press, I hope this is a new model that other photographers can follow."
