Recent studies suggest that indoor air pollution increases your risk for cardiovascular disease.

Online PR News – 09-February-2015 – Pulaski, New York – A recent study published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine links indoor air pollution to an increased risk in cardiovascular disease. Conducted by a team of scientists from Denmark and Sweden they discovered that indoor air is polluted with tiny particles that when breathed in reach the bloodstream affecting the performance of blood vessels. Several other studies recently conducted have reinforced this revealing that the smallest air pollutant particles are the most toxic having a larger concentration of chemicals and a larger surface area to thrive compared to larger particles. Ultrafine particle exposure may lead to systematic inflammation through oxidative stress responses.

HealthWay, the global leading medical grade air cleaning manufacturer focuses specifically on ultrafine particle filtration with its latest innovation of DFS filtration technology. DFS filtration has been independently tested to be more than 99.99% efficient at capturing ultra fine particles down to a size of .007 micron, which is 50x more efficient than a similar sized HEPA. A recent study conducted by the University at Buffalo showed efficiencies as high as 99.99% at .002 micron.

Healthway’s medical grade air cleaners utilizing DFS technology, was independently tested by the University of Athens Medical School. Four studies were conducted in the hospital wards of the National Health Care System. Clinical laboratory services showed reduced ultrafine particles, potentially pathogenic and toxicogenic fungi by more than 95% from 2313 CFU’s to less than 2 CFU’s after 24 hours of usage.

President of Central New York based HealthWay Vinny Lobdell states, “We understand indoor air quality problems come in all shapes and sizes and our full range of residential and commercial air cleaners have been proven to be the most efficient and adaptable air cleaners ever developed.” HealthWay manufactures a full range of customized air cleaning solutions for the most mission critical applications. Major corporations like Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, The Cleveland Clinic and BMW rely on HealthWay to provide state of the art air cleaning solutions.
