Mindfulness classes in Beckenham
From Monday the 2nd of February I shall be teaching at Breeze Yoga in Beckenham at 8:15PM each Monday. Breeze Yoga is a fabulous venue. A professional yoga studio with great facilities including their own small trendy cafe! Details are posted below.
One to one mindfulness coaching
I have started to take on some one-to-one mindfulness coaching clients. I haven't advertised this yet but if you have a busy schedule or want focused guidance please do drop me a line or call me. I am doing it for an affordable introductory rate until I launch it as a service in the next few weeks. This can be by phone or in person.
8 week courses
Both of this January's courses were fully subscribed and are in progress, so due to the demand I am planning an 8 week course on Saturdays starting in February.
I am running a waiting list for this and also for future mid-week courses that I intend to run from March so if you want to get on those please contact me to let me know so I can add you to the list.
I need to make the fees as reasonable for regular meditators as possible while still charging sufficient to cover the costs of rent and marketing so we have a new fee structure which reduces costs for regular meditators to the minimum possible for each venue after including the costs.
I have posted these on the Bromley Mindfulness site:
St Marks and Chantry Studios
Drop-in £9 per session
4 week pass £24 (£6 per session) can be taken over five weeks
8 week pass £48 (£6 per session) can be taken over twelve weeks
Drop-in £14 per session
4 week pass £40 (£10 per session) can be taken over five weeks
8 week pass £80 (£10 per session) can be taken over twelve weeks
Class formats from February
There will be one 'Introduction to Mindfulness' class each month specifically aimed at newcomers though regulars are still welcome and encouraged as we need to go over the basics until they become intuitive as I am sure you are aware.
I will also run a special class each month at the drop-in classes based on topics that I have been asked about by members of the meetup group or regular attendees. The first two will be 'Mindfulness and Work Related Stress' and 'Mindfulness for Addiction' on dates to be decided in February and March. The addiction session will draw on what I have learned teaching mindfulness at Bromley Drug and Alcohol service but will be relevant to anyone that wants to change their habits no matter how small. Do let me know if you are interested in attending these classes and if so which venue you can make?
The remaining classes in each month will be focused on regular meditators with varying meditations at an intermediate 'few months to few years' level of experience. These will not have topics and will focus on the meditations and mindfulness techniques.
I am looking at a Sunday in April at a local-ish venue for a six hour retreat possibly with some yoga so let me know if you are up for it? Once I have sufficient interest I shall look at booking somewhere.
I am looking at June for this. It will be a weekend in Kent. Please me know if you are interested?
Also coming soon: Guided meditations and a youtube channel! I have the collateral and I expect to begin posting it online in February.
Well that is it, I hope that you had a great winter holiday and I wish you all a great 2015!
