In collaboration with the Backstage Artist Lounge, Paoo jewelry designed and donated a rock-inspired necklace for artists to wear “on tour” to support their efforts in raising funds for children’s charities. The necklace was admired backstage by bands like Motley Crue, Saliva, Hurt, The Used, Rise Against, Shinedown, Saving Abel, Blue October, and many more. Fans had the chance to bid online for the one of a kind piece of jewelry through the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation at www.ClothesOffOurBack.org
Christina Martin, the founder of the Backstage Artist Lounge, was eager to join with Paoo and present the rock community with a chance to give back. According to Ms. Martin, the Lounge is always looking for opportunities to reach out and help those in need.
Paoo has also partnered with organizations like Clothes Off Our Back, HOW and the Eating Disorder Alliance to garner support and recognition for organizations that are making a difference. Paoo’s desire is to connect with charities that specifically empower and support women and children. They want to encourage women to celebrate who they are, where they come from, and where they are going.
Together, the Backstage Artist Lounge and Paoo created the concept of “Rock for Children’s Charities” to give famous musicians a chance to do something that benefits hundreds of children’s lives. They are very thankful for bands like Taking Back Sunday, Saving Abel, Blue October, and all the others that embraced this chance to give back.
