Winners of Software Testing Conference (STC 2014) Announced

The 14th Annual International Software Testing Conference (STC 2014) organized by QAI,concluded on 5th December, 2014 at The Park Plaza, Bangalore.

The theme of the conference this year was Re-invent Testing – Inspiring Innovation & Increasing Agility. Building on this theme, STC 2014 included 409+ Delegates, 14 Keynote Speakers, 25 Best Practice Presentations, 10 Poster Presenters, 07 Sponsors, 17 Supporters and a fantastic entertainment, all of this in just 2 days.

The conference culminated with the Best of the Best Testing Leadership Awards instituted to recognize practitioners for their excellence in the practice of Software Testing & Quality. Instituted in 1999, the awards have become an industry standard recognition for the practitioners. This year, the conference received over 713 submissions from over 150+ organizations from across the world to contest for the Testing Leadership Awards 2014. A Jury Board of over 78+ members evaluated each paper, and finally gave opportunity to 25 of the Best Papers for presentation and 10 for Poster Presentation at STC 2014 in Bangalore. Subsequently, a team of Jury Members made it a point to keenly observe each paper to finalize the top 3 winners: Sushmitha Geddam & Abhijit Tibrewal from Cognizant Technology Solutions, followed by Nandan Chhabra from QA InfoTech and Anuj Laddha & Chandni Tyagi from Mahindra Comviva. In the Best Poster Presentation category the top 3 winners were Sudarshan Sridhara from IGATE Global Solutions, Arit Kumar Bishwas from Capgemini India Pvt. Ltd followed by Rejeesh Gopalakrishnan, Ajith Michael, Dileep K, Ashly Kurian & Manjulakshmi C S from Network Systems and Technologies.
