Alan Helms of TNP Nevada remarks, “I am excited to be recognized by our peers for the efficient management of this unique office and historical office building. The TOBY Award recognizes excellence of building operations by BOMA who is the premiere voice of commercial real estate in Las Vegas."
Additionally Tamara Zboril states: “As property manager I feel a great deal of pride with our team in receiving this coveted award. The CARSON building has many outstanding features preserved from 50 years ago even though it has been renovated in 2009."
TNP redeveloped Carson during 2009-2010 completely replacing all windows, mechanical systems, elevators and removing significant tenant improvements including asbestos throughout the 165,000 sq ft building.
The original high-rise was the downtown home to Senator Harry Reid and Mayor Goodman’s law firms in the 1960’s and 70’s. Today, the 11 story Gold Leed certified building is home to technology firms Take 2, Zappo’s and the downtown project along with local, County and Federal Government agencies." TNP‘s vision in 2008 of the downtown renaissance has paid off with the Carson location in strong demand with its occupancy nearly 90 percent" Tony Thompson TNP’s CEO commented recently at the downtown Las Vegas alliance.
302 E. Carson will now be eligible to compete in the Regional TOBY Awards
TNP, headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, was founded in April, 2008 and has three regional offices in Dallas, St. Paul and Las Vegas. TNP manages a portfolio of over 74 commercial properties, in 14 states, totaling approximately 9 million sq. ft., on behalf of over 5,000 investors.
