TG Bears Creates a Handmade Teddy Bear to Raise Epilepsy Awareness in November 2014

November is Epilepsy Awareness month and TG Bears has designed a limited edition bear to raise awareness and support relevant foundations internationally.

Online PR News – 03-November-2014 – Fort Myers, Florida – November is deemed as being Epilepsy Awareness month and purple is the awareness color. TG Bears Inc, a handmade teddy bear business in Fort Myers, FL, has for the second year in a row, designed and created a limited edition handmade teddy bear aimed at raising Epilepsy Awareness during the month of November 2014.

Epilepsy is a condition that is invisible and yet debilitating and affects people of all ages and walks of life. An estimated 65 million people live with epilepsy worldwide.

E-Bear 2014 is a completely different design to the November 2013 version, but still has some of the important features that make the bear truly a collector item. The bear is only available for purchase from November 1 through November 30 and will thereafter be retired. The bears can be personalized and there is the option of a choice of neckwear being either a bow-tie or a scarf. Each bear is numbered, signed and dated. Expedited and rush processing are available is optional additions.

The important mission that E-Bear 2014 also accomplishes is to provide support for participating foundations. The customer can choose the foundation they wish to support from the drop-down list on the bear's listing. Participating foundations are: The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation, CURE: Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy, Cure AHC, the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, the Epilepsy Foundation Texas, The Epilepsy Warriors Foundation, KARE Foundation 501 (c) 3, the National Seizure Disorders Foundation, South Carolina Advocates for Epilepsy and Team Jo Epilepsy Foundation. E-Bear 2014 has an international reach this year.

A teddy bear is an ideal conversation piece to raise awareness. With the message embroidered clearly on the bear's chest, just sitting the bear in an obvious spot or carrying the bear around delivers the message. Monica Collins, owner, designer and creator at TG Bears Inc, states that she has received numerous reports on how the bears convey their message in addition to bringing comfort and support to the person that each one was made specifically for.

E-Bear 2014 states the message very clearly: "Let's fight Epilepsy".
