RAJAR Results Reveal Strong Show for Bauer Media

Bauer Media Scotland has turned in a strong set of figures in the latest RAJAR radio results.

Online PR News – 06-August-2010 – – THE company has more listening hours than BBC Radio 1 and 2 combined in Scotland and reaches 1.8 million listeners each week - 41% of the population.

The network’s AM stations have also shown a stellar performance with Clyde 2 in particular increasing its reach by 15% in the last quarter.

Each of the stations in Scotland claim the number one spot for reach and number one for breakfast in the commercial arena underlining the network’s commitment to retaining a close connection with its local audiences.

Radio Borders leads the UK with a phenomenal 56% reach, testament again to the station and network’s relationship and understanding with its consumers, and ongoing commitment to delivering relevant and engaging content.

West Sound added audience and reported its highest listenership for five years and Forth One remains number one station overall adding another 3,000 listeners.
