ATLANTA (September 17, 2014) – Nearly 15,000 inboxes across Atlanta and the U.S. will be greeted with a new video series in tomorrow’s weekly issue of The Atlanta 100 eNewsletter and website, along with a new and engaging layout. “100 Seconds” will feature an inside look into some of the most intriguing Atlantans, beginning with former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young. Developer Green Street President and CEO Katharine Kelley and Artist Flournoy Holmes, who has created album work for the Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels and more, are also on the schedule for upcoming issues.
“Our previous interview video series, ‘Crossroads,’ focused on a specific crossroads moment in someone’s life. Now, Atlanta figures have the freedom to discuss a passion, a cause, a call-to-action or anything they feel compelled to share with thousands of Atlanta readers,” said Chris Schroder, president of Schroder Public Relations and The Atlanta 100. “The stories are more personal and provide a more refined look into Atlanta’s landscape today.”
The eNewsletter has also been redesigned to now categorize the 100-second videos and 100-word stories, on topics such as Restaurants, Nonprofits and Crowdfunding, into three sections: Live, Work and Play. A survey of Atlantans revealed what readers want in the intriguing, brief newsletter, such as more stories on the BeltLine and Atlanta events. More changes are also expected to come.
The relaunch will also include two new video series: “Mind Your Own Business” and “Your New Home.” The 26-week series “Mind Your Own Business” highlights FranNet, a company that consults budding entrepreneurs who want to own their own business with the right franchise. The series will discuss the benefits of owning a franchise, franchise options, interviews with FranNet clients and more. Your Next Home will feature tours of for-sale homes in Atlanta, beginning with a beautiful Buckhead home.
