Karl F. Hollenbach Receives Honorable Mention in Awards

Karl F. Hollenbach’s Scrooge and Marley was both an Award Finalist and an Honorable Mention in the Readers’ Favorite Awards of 2014.

Online PR News – 12-September-2014 – Louisville, KY – Louisville, Kentucky – Karl F. Hollenbach’s Scrooge and Marley was both an Award Finalist and an Honorable Mention in the Readers’ Favorite Awards of 2014. The book was judged in the Fiction – Historical – Personage category. The results were announced on Reader’s Favorite’s website on September 1, 2014.

Scrooge and Marley is Hollenbach’s continuation of the holiday favorite A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The story follows Scrooge as he attempts to help his old friend Marley.

Astrid Gay, book publicist for BAA, says “We are very happy with this result. Scrooge and Marley went the extra step further than [Hollenbach’s] A Journey To the Four Kingdoms did, just as we were hoping.

Getting an honorable mention in an award that sees hundreds, if not thousands, of books competing is always something to celebrate!”

Scrooge and Marley also received a five-star review from Faridah Nassozi during the process. This review is published on the Readers’ Favorite site at https://readersfavorite.com/book-review/32073

Hollenbach is thrilled with the results. He says, “This award is very encouraging. I was a Finalist last year, and received an Honorable Mention this year. I was excited when an exceptional book trailer went up on You Tube [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Vjs-SNMUg ] for Scrooge And Marley. I’m doubly thrilled with this level of critical acclaim.”

Scrooge and Marley is available in the Kindle store and on Amazon as a paperback (ISBN: 978-0615728506). A Journey To the Four Kingdoms is also available in both formats (ISBN: 978-1482008937).

Karl F. Hollenbach is working on The Francis Bacon Letters, a companion piece to his work Francis Rosicross which was released earlier this year.
