California College San Diego has introduced evening, day and online courses for its various degree programs. The different schedules are aimed at providing students the flexibility to choose a time and mode thatâ€™s most convenient for them.
Online PR News – 05-August-2010 – – San Diego, California â€“ Taking its commitment further to make higher education easily accessible for a large majority of students, California College San Diego has introduced evening, day and online courses for its various degree programs.
The different schedules are aimed at providing students the flexibility to choose a time and mode thatâ€™s most suitable for them.
This is also an acknowledgment of the fact that a large number of graduates enrolled at the college are working professionals and California College San Diego is trying to make education as convenient as possible for them by giving them several alternatives to choose from.
Day classes are held at California College San Diego Monday through Thursday between 8.30 am to 11 am and 11.30 am to 2 pm. Specific schedules may vary from module to module and students may be asked to attend class meetings on afternoons of Monday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a variety of activities such as tutoring, advising, or externship.
The evening program consists of classes between 6 pm and 9.50 pm on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. Classes may also be scheduled between 8 am and 8 pm on Friday and Saturday, based on course requirements.
Besides the traditional time and location-specific courses, a variety of fully online programs are also offered through Stevens-Henager College Murray/Salt Lake City, an affiliated college. These online programs are designed to fit the busy schedule of working professionals.
California College San Diego also runs what is called a FastFlex program that combines the convenience of online learning with the benefits of on campus, classroom-based personal instruction. Courses that are offered on a FastFlex schedule can be completed in a much shorter span of time than usual.
