As part of a plan to enhance urban spaces in Seattle, DSA brings in custom-made rolling book racks.
Online PR News – 04-September-2014 – Dallas, TX – Dallas, Texas – Committed to the enhancement of their city, the Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) continues to make additions and improvements all over downtown to meet their mission to “champion a healthy, vibrant urban core.” After seeing custom-made book carts in a another city’s park, DSA contacted Mecca Design and Production, a scenic element and services design/build group in Dallas, Texas, to build a couple for them. The mobile book racks measure approximately 5’ x 5’ x 5’ in size, and the a-frame style racks are perfect for little and big park visitors alike. Enhancing the urban environment, DSA is adding one book rack for children’s books and one for adults with news and periodicals.
According to Mecca Design and Production’s Kenneth Mecca, “These book racks have many fans, and we love to make them and see park visitors enjoying them all over the country.”
