Laurie Seward Horvath has joined Troy-based certified public accounting and consulting
firm Doeren Mayhew as an audit manager.

firm Doeren Mayhew as an audit manager. Horvath has 17 years of experience in public accounting specializing
in audit engagements within the non-profit, service, and manufacturing industries. Other areas of expertise include
technical training of staff, practice development, and client relations. Horvath is also an adjunct faculty member at
Walsh College, instructing graduate and undergraduate students in a variety of accounting and auditing related
courses. Laurie serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at Lighthouse of Oakland County and the
Treasurer of the St Joseph Mercy Oakland Foundation Board. She earned an undergraduate degree at the
University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University.
