After working as an actor around the world, Sebastien Cipolla is now making his way in Hollywood.
Online PR News – 22-August-2014 – Los Angeles, CA – French born actor Sebastien Cipolla, who recently finished filming the indie feature film "So, You Want to be a Gangster?", proves he is destined for success on Hollywood's silver screen.
The thrilling crime drama was written and directed by Alex Kahuam who first directed Sebastien Cipolla last year in the film "What's in the Case?"which is in the running to be screened at Cannes Film Festival in 2015.
"So, You Want to be a Gangster?" comes as yet another display of Cipolla's wide range of talent with his performance in the role of Marco, a tough guy gangster hired to protect the leader of one of the world's most feared drug cartels.
"Sebastien is one of the most diverse actors I've ever met," said Director Alex Kahuam. "He brought an incredibly fierce and edgy energy to our film "What's In the Case?" which I believe made the film a success. When it came time to cast the part of Marco for the feature of "So, You Want to be a Gangster?" I knew there was no other actor who could play the role like Sebastien."
While his roles in Kahuam's films show his darker attributes, Cipolla's capacity for playing roles like the sweet family man in the film "The Heart of a Mind" make him an easy cast for a wide range of roles. Cipolla also stars in the award-winning writer, director and actor Stan Harrington's feature film "Lost Angels", which is scheduled for release later this year. Cipolla plays the role of Joseph in the film which reveals the treacherous reality of what goes on behind the scenes in Hollywood's entertainment industry.
While Cipolla has undergone extensive training at some of the world's most prestigious acting academies, including Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) where a-list stars like Mel Gibson, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman have also honed their skills, Cipolla's combination of good looks and talent have made him a force to be reckoned with in both the U.S and abroad.
An international heartthrob to say the least, Cipolla has found great success as a model in Paris and Australia, as well as a go-to actor for commercials in Hollywood. His most recent commercials include leading roles as a golf-pro for the EA Sports game 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour '14', as well as the sexy mystery man in the commercial for Porsche's 'Thrilling Contraction.'
