Northwest Orthodontics has released information regarding a new digital scanner to benefit patients
Online PR News – 20-August-2014 – Beaverton, OR – Dr. Vonny Ngantung of Northwest Orthodontics recently announced the implementation of a new hi-tech device in her orthodontic offices called the iTero® digital scanner.
The gooey, messy impressions are history; digital impressions are the future. With the iTero® state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Vonny can take a highly accurate, digital 3D image of the teeth and gums to provide a more precise treatment plan and excellent results.
Patients of Northwest Orthodontics will see great benefits with the implementation of this new technology. Impressions will be much more comfortable with the elimination of the goop and gagging associated with conventional impressions. Safety is another important benefit. Using the iTero® digital scanner, patients are not exposed to radiation. A laser is used to generate images of the patient’s mouth and teeth. Results are also more accurate and deliver a precise fit for Invisalign® aligners and retainers.
“We are thrilled to offer this new technology to our patients. We pride ourselves on staying up to date on all the latest orthodontic techniques to deliver exceptional results for our patients. We look forward to introducing even more new technologies in the near future,” says Dr. Vonny Ngantung, owner of Northwest Orthodontics.
